iPhone 11 Pro Max, Everything You Need To Know

Apple today presented the new iPhone 11 Pro Max, along with its two brothers, the iPhone 11 Pro and the iPhone 11, which, contrary to what the last-minute rumors said, did not lose their numbering. Rumors are not always true

This new iPhone model comes to replace the iPhone XS Max. It is aimed at premium users who do not care what about pricing but are more concerned with having flagship technology from the new 2019 generation iPhone. Apple has put an entry price of AU$1,899.00 to this new model of iPhone and more memory will cost you more, so what are the features and benefits that this iPhone brings us?

One of the device’s main feature is a triple rear camera, with three lenses, one an ultra-wide lens, one a wide lens and the third one is a telephoto type. The Ultra Wide camera has an ƒ/2.4 aperture and 120° field of view.

The wide a Wide: ƒ/1.8 aperture and the telephoto a ƒ/2.0 aperture. These allow the user to frame much more information, objects or people in the image near the iPhone and also landscapes much wider.

The video recording of the iPhone 11 Pro Max is done at 4K resolution and up to 60 frames per second, which is today the maximum quality standard that can be demanded of any new high-end smartphone.

We have improvements in image stabilization and dynamic range, probably thanks to the magic made by the new processors specialized in image processing of the A13 Bionic, the new CPU of the iPhone 11 Pro Max, which we will talk about later.

Thanks to the three rear cameras, it is now possible to make better portrait-type photos as one of the cameras is used to get depth data. We can thus eliminate the background of a photo completely or blur it in the same way that we could do it on the iPhone X a couple of years ago.

As expected, this new iPhone 11 Pro Max has a new A13 Bionic CPU that Apple has indicated is up to 20% faster in virtually all tasks.

Today, it is simply the most powerful CPU and GPU (in another layer of the chip) that exist on an iPhone … in this sense Apple has about two years of advantage to any other smartphone. Last year’s A12 is already faster than any other smartphone on the market. These graphics make it clear.

The iPhone 11 Pro max has a Super Retina XDR 6.5 inch all-screen OLED Multi-Touch display HDR display that has 2688-by-1242-pixel resolution at 458 ppi.

However, the most impressive thing about the new A13 Bionic is not the extra power it achieves, but it offers improved energy consumption thanks to a new transistor technology, of which it has 8500 million.

Get one more hour of battery per day compared to the A12 on the iPhone XR.

Apple was very fast giving the main news of this new iPhone 11 Pro Max, which is offered in all these new colours: Gold, Space Gray, Silver, Midnight Green. This phone is also offered in three memory sizes: 64GB, 256GB and 512GB and as with all other iPhone iterations the 11 Pro Max is not compatible with a memory card.

Although this should not be a problem as long as buyers choose wisely and iPhone owners are well and truly aware of this aspect to iPhone ownership.

This is the summary of the main features of this new iPhone model, according to Apple the device is splash, water, and dust resistant and is rated IP68 which is a maximum depth of 4 meters for up to 30 minutes.

Something that sadly has not received a lot of coverage is that the iPhone 11 Pro Max continues Apple’s progress in making their devices more environmentally friendly. This device has been manufactured with the following features in order to reduce Apple’s environmental impact.

Arsenic-free display glass has been used and the display itself is Mercury-free. The phone is Brominated flame retardant free, Beryllium-free PVC free and it uses recyclable stainless steel. You can read Apple’s Product Environmental Reports to see information on the environmental impact performance of each Apple product.

The new 2019 iPhones are among the best devices on the market when it comes to performance, quality, camera and with caveats, the design.

By now the diversity of the Android world has shown us multiple ways to get rid of the notch, with tiny holes in the screen or even retractable cameras, and all of this makes the “notch” of the iPhone look dated and even a little unpleasant.

The notch houses the device’s Face ID TrueDepth camera and there is some content that the Notch’s presence is more evident, such as videos and photos in full screen.

While the company can no longer miniaturize the multiple sensors used in Face ID, it’s stuck to these on-screen “horns,” and Androids “on-screen” designs clearly seem to have a head start on what Apple has to offer.
